The WNY Independent Living Inc. (WNYIL) is pleased to announce their "29th Annual Meet the Candidates Day", being held on October 21, 2009 from 2 PM - 6 PM at the WNY Independent Living, Inc. 3108 Main Street near Highgate Avenue in Buffalo's University District. The WNYIL has invited the individuals competing for Erie County Legislature, Sherriff, City of Buffalo Mayor, and Amherst Town Supervisor. Sign Language Interpreters for the Deaf and an assistive listening system for hard-of-hearing people will be available. A limited amount of free transportation is also available for participants with disabilities - by reservation on a first-come, first-served basis. For details, call 836-0822, ext. 150.
