Native American Independent Living Services (NAILS) now have an office at the "Mental Health Association of Niagara County," located at 36 Pine Street, Lockport NY 14094. NAILS staff will be available to provide services to consumers in need every Thursday from 1:00PM - 4:00PM.

Native American Independent Living Services (NAILS), one of the five agencies that make up the Western New York Independent Living Inc., is run by Native Americans with disabilities and provides Independent Living Services to all Native Americans with disabilities both on and off the reservations, throughout Western New York. Numerous services are available providing skills instruction and advocacy and supporting individual choices for a more independent and productive life through peer counseling and information and referral services. The WNY Independent Living Inc. family of agencies includes the Independent Living Center, Native American Independent Living Services, Mental Health PEER Connection, and Independent Living of Niagara County. The WNYIL is Western New York's largest cross-disability, consumer-directed, non-residential organization for persons with disabilities. At the WNYIL, individuals of all ages and all types of disabilities learn to exercise their freedom of choice to take control of their own lives in order to live more productively in, and contribute to, the community.
