Topic: PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR A PAID FOCUS GROUP

The WNY Independent Living, Inc. in conjunction with University at Buffalo's Center on Knowledge Translation for Technology Transfer (KT4TT), is looking for individuals who are either severely hard of hearing OR totally deaf and fall between the ages of 19 - 75. Qualified participants will be paid $75 for this three hour group, which will take place at WNY Independent Living, 3108 Main Street, near Hertel Avenue. A Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) service provider will be onsite as well as qualified interpreters for anyone who uses sign language. KT4TT is a partnership of the University at Buffalo's Center for Assistive Technology, and WNYIL agencies. This Buffalo-based five-year program is sponsored by a grant from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) of the U.S. Department of Education.
