Save the date for Saturday, October 24, 2009 for WNY Independent Living Inc. 1st Annual "Cruisin' for Independence Fundraiser," to be held at Main Mobility/AdaptaVan, 9580 Main Street (across form Clarence High School) Clarence, New York. The "Cruisin' for Independence Fundraiser" will help the WNYIL to replace an aged vehicle with a new, fully accessible wheelchair lift-equipped van that will continue to shuttle hundreds of people with disabilities to dialysis, church, medical appointments, shops and family gatherings. The WNY Independent Living Inc. family of agencies includes the Independent Living Center, Native American Independent Living Services, Mental Health PEER Connection, and Independent Living of Niagara County.
