Our Vision:
Independent Living of the Genesee Region (ILGR) is a community pathway for an empowered life for people with disabilities.

 
Our Mission:
Independent Living of Genesee Region is a multi-cultural, grassroots, peer directed, civil rights organization that provides a full range of assistance, programs and services to enhance the quality of life for all individuals with disabilities. Independent Living assists persons with disabilities to realize their life choices through information and referral, independent living skills, community and systems advocacy and peer counseling.

Corporate Compliance

WNYIL is committed to vigilance in detecting and eliminating fraud.

Examples of fraud:
•    fraudulent representation of consumer service records
•    falsifying timesheets
•    billing for more expensive services

or when someone:
•    lies about their eligibility
•    lies about their medical condition
•    misuses agency property or equipment

•    Use any compliance mailboxes to write and drop off your issues or concerns
