Did you know that Medicaid adds additional coverage to medical expenses and can cover home care services in the community, in addition to providing access to a variety of community-based programs and services?
WNYIL’s Aged, Blind & Disabled Facilitated Enrollment Program (FE-ABD) offers free, personalized assistance to individuals aged 65 or older, as well as those certified as blind or disabled, who want to apply for Medicaid benefits.
If you are considering Medicaid, our team can help you apply for Medicaid, Medicaid for Nursing Homes, Long Term Care, Medicaid Excess Income/Resource Programs, Medicaid Buy In for Working People with Disabilities, and Medicare Savings Program.
Our Services include private, one-on-one counseling about public health insurance options through:
- In-person application assistance in our office
- In-person application assistance at your home if you have difficulty traveling or communicating by phone
- Education sessions for consumers, caregivers, and other service providers
