2026 Annual Meeting

WNYIL’s Annual Meeting brought staff, consumers and friends together for a year in review, as well as to honor some of our supporters. The 2026 event embraced the theme “Empowerment with Purpose,” highlighting the drive and determination of individuals and advocates working together to create lasting change.
Awards
The WNYIL Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to recognize individual and corporate supporters through our annual awards program.
The Elayne G. Wels Community Support Award is given to the person who personally and/or professionally supports, promotes and embraces the IL philosophy throughout the community.
2026 Award Recipient: Frank Cammarata
The Corporate Support Award is given to the company that supports WNYIL and promotes and embraces the IL philosophy throughout the community.
2026 Award Recipient: Buffalo-Toronto Public Media
The Dr. John F. Keating Volunteer of the Year Award is awarded to an individual or organization who has supported our mission and values through volunteer service.
