Disability Pride Festival logo

The Disability Pride Festival is held in July every year to celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The 2026 Disability Pride Festival was held on July 24, 2026, at Buffalo Riverworks, marking the 36th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in many areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and many public and private places that are open to the public. The purpose of the law is to make sure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

The 2026 Disability Pride Festival is in the Books!

The Disability Pride Festival features entertainment, a speaker series, a children’s area, Artist Alley, balloon and airbrush tattoo artists, a resource and vendor area, and more. Stay tuned for an announcement on the date for the 2027 Festival!
