Today, January 20, 2026, is the National Day of Racial Healing. Organizations, associations, and neighborhoods across the U.S. join to focus on their common humanity and build the relationships essential to ensure a fair world.

Racial Healing paves the way for acknowledgement and revelations of the truth about past wrongs due to individual and systemic racism and address the present.

The National Day of Racial Healing (NDORH) originated in 2017 under W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation efforts, which serves as a community and national-based- process to determine and bring about transformational and sustainable change in addition to talking about the historical and contemporary effects of racism in U.S. society.

Those observing the day are encouraged to acknowledge the historical and contemporary effects of racism in American society and foster greater awareness and understanding through truth-telling, affirming our common humanity, and inspiring collective, nonviolent action toward a more just and equitable world. (NDORH) is observed each year following the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Holiday to allow us all to further draw upon the life lessons of the venerable civil rights leader.

Naturally 7 is an American music group with a distinct a cappella style they call “vocal play,” which, according to group leader Roger Thomas, is “the art of becoming an instrument using the human voice to create the sound.” Naturally 7 is known around the world.

The Maccabeats are an American Orthodox Jewish all-male A cappella group. Founded in 2007 at Yeshiva University, Manhattan, New York, the 14+ member group specializes in covers and parodies of contemporary hits using Jewish-themed lyrics.

The performance is so compelling not only with their singing, but the fact that 7 Black men and 14 Orthodox Jewish men sang together, proving one thing, we can all get along!
