Mental Health PEER Connection (MHPC), a member of the WNY Independent Living Inc. Family of Agencies (WNYIL) announces that the Renewal Center will adjust its hours of operation beginning November 1, 2025.

To better align services with community needs, the Renewal Center will now be open daily from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This change allows staff to focus resources and peer support during the hours of highest demand, ensuring continued access to quality, compassionate crisis care.

Supported by the Erie County Department of Mental Health, the Renewal Center is a peer-run hospital diversion program offering a safe, welcoming environment for individuals who are currently experiencing or approaching a mental health crisis. All services are free of charge for adults 18 and over, providing access to peer support, professional nursing assistance, connections to the community resources, and tools for maintaining wellness and recovery.
