Independent Living of the Genesee Region (ILGR) will host its Second Annual Parking Lot Party on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Crickler Building, 319 West Main Street in Batavia.
Built around ILGR’s three E’s—Education, Equality, and Empowerment—the community event will bring together local families and organizations for an afternoon of activities and entertainment. Attendees can meet the ILGR team and enjoy free children’s games, activities, and prizes. Firefighters and a fire truck will be joining in the fun, along with animals, reptiles, and more. There will also be games for adults, basket raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and local vendors.
A chicken barbeque will be served beginning at 12:00 p.m., with presale tickets available for $16. Additionally, attendees who bring a bag of pet food to donate will receive tickets to play the Human Slot Machine Game.
ILGR’s Second Annual Parking Lot Party is sponsored in part by Greater Rochester Health Foundation, as well as Max your Dash with Dash Financial.
