WNYIL’s Compliance Office is responsible for ensuring WNYIL and its agencies operate in full compliance with legal regulations and industry-specific guidelines. The Compliance Office’s duties include monitoring internal policies and addressing any reported regulatory risks or misconduct.
WNYIL is committed to vigilance in detecting and eliminating fraud.
Examples of fraud:
- fraudulent representation of consumer service records
- falsifying timesheets
- billing for more expensive services
or when someone:
- lies about their eligibility
- lies about their medical condition
- misuses agency property or equipment
